How can an innovative product be skillfully put into the spotlight? Which design elements are particularly suitable for depicting an airbag in a vehicle, and how can messages be communicated in a memorable way?
Simple, intelligent and safe: Autoliv’s airbags don’t rely on showmanship. So we chose to concentrate only on the essential elements for the product animations of our concept study.
White, airy and voluminous: Inspiration for the design of the city backdrop was provided by the airbag itself. Our city deliberately omits irrelevant details, while emphasizing obstacles, corners and edges that represent situations in which an airbag can save lives.
We created a dummy whose functionality takes center stage — with timeless shapes and colors that complement and emphasize the general characteristics of the airbag.
No steering wheel or forward-facing seats in the vehicle, as well as an innovative door design: Is this what the future of individual mobility looks like? Our vehicle design is based on predicted trends, and thus looks to the future without aligning with any specific brand.
